LENS CLEANER QUESTIONS
What is lens cleaner, and how does it work?
This here lens cleaner—it's not just your average spray. It's engineered to tackle all those pesky oils, dirt, and smudges that mess with your gear—like glasses, camera lenses, even your screens. It's like a precision tool that breaks down the gunk so you can wipe it clean without leaving a scratch. Because when you're dealing with expensive tech, like most of us, clarity isn't just a luxury—it's a necessity.
Is lens cleaner safe to use on all types of lenses?
Absolutely. We've done extensive testing and no joke our original formula was designed to clean super sensitive coated lenses that your eye doctor makes you buy. So rest assured, our cleaner is safe and effective on all glass and coated lenses today.
Can I use lens cleaner on anti-reflective or anti-fog coated lenses?
Yes, our lens cleaners are crafted to be gentle enough for those slick anti-reflective, bluelight blocking, anti-glare, and anti-fog coatings.
How often should I clean my lenses with lens cleaner?
You want your lenses in top shape? Clean 'em up whenever they start looking dirty or smudged. (For me it's everyday.) For regular upkeep, a spritz of lens cleaner and a swipe with a microfiber cloth does the trick. Keeps your vision crystal clear and ready for action, everyday.
Can I use lens cleaner on electronic screens, such as smartphones and tablets?
Absolutely. Lens cleaner is perfect for electronic screens—whether it's your smartphone, tablet, laptop, or monitor. But here's the crucial part: spray the cleaner onto a microfiber cloth first, not directly on the screen. We don't want any liquid sneaking into those delicate electronic guts. Precision, people!
Is lens cleaner environmentally friendly?
We use minimal chemicals that may be harmful to the environment in large concentrations. However, in order to provide a cleaner that performs as well as ours, we need those chemicals, even at the small amount. On another note, we're hard at work in our lab to develop eco-friendly products and packaging because our world is the only one we've got and we want it to be around as long as possible.
Can lens cleaner remove scratches from lenses?
Lens cleaner is built to wipe away dirt, oils, and smudges from lenses, but it's not a fix for scratches. You might see a little improvement with minor scratches using our cleaner as it does create a nanoscopic barrier, but for the big stuff, you'll need to call in the pros for repairs or replacements.
Can I make my own lens cleaner at home?
Sure, you might find some DIY lens cleaner recipes out there, but the smart move is to stick with a commercial cleaner made for optical surfaces. Those homemade concoctions might not cut it—they could even mess with your lenses. Play it safe and trust the experts. We know what we're doing.
Is it necessary to use a microfiber cloth with lens cleaner?

Can I use lens cleaner to clean my contact lenses?

Can I use lens cleaner on old, vintage lenses?
Sure thing. You can use lens cleaner on those old-school and vintage lenses, but play it smart. Test it out on a small spot first, especially if they're delicate or have special coatings. And when you're cleaning, go easy with gentle, circular motions to keep those lenses in primo condition.
Will lens cleaner remove water spots from lenses?

GENERAL NANOCOATING QUESTIONS
What happens if it comes in contact with skin?
Wash the contacted area with soap and cold water.
What do I do if I inhale vapors?
Get to fresh air immediately. Monitor symptoms (lightheaded, drowsiness, itching burning nose, eyes, or throat) and if persist then consult a medical doctor. However, symptoms will subside after getting fresh air.
What environmental conditions are best for application?
Above 55°F and below 85°F and humidity between 50-80%.
Recommendation: if too cold then use your car window heaters to warm up the glass surface before application and allow for extra time for coating.
If low humidity then the coating will react slower, so allow for longer coating times. If humidity is too high, then the coating solution will react very fast leaving a white residue.
What environmental conditions are poor for application?
Cold, wet, or extremely low or high humidity. Uncleaned or dirty windows
What can degrade the coating?
Alkaline (basic) cleaners - cleaners with pH greater than 7.
When do I need to reapply?
We recommend applying once a year, however you may apply more than once per year.
How do I dispose of the contents?
The gloves and bottles can be thrown in the trash.
The squeegee can be rinsed with water and dried. Feel free to keep this for future use.
Cloths can be machine washed, but don’t wash with any delicate clothing. Blenching or discoloration might occur. Use discretion.
What if the coating solution is cloudy?
The coating solution has expired. Send a photo to solutions@nanomagic.com for reimbursement.
AUTO - RAIN REPELLENT NANOCOATING QUESTIONS
Will it damage car paint?
If the coating is left on the paint for an excessive amount of time then it is possible to cause damage. Recommendation would be to immediately dry off any coating solution that comes into contact with paint and buff with the lens cleaning solution.
Can I wash my windshield after I apply the coating?
Yes, anytime after the coating application is finished.
Why is there a white haze on the windshield?
The white haze is the excess coating solution. To remove the haze use Nano Magic Glass Cleaner and buff off until crystal clear.
How do I remove the coating if I no longer want it?
Removing the coating is a bit of a chemical stripping process and will cause more damage to the windshield so DO NOT attempt. The coating is bonded to the surface chemically, and the top layer of glass will have to be sheered off to remove the coating. This can lead to hazing and scratches on your windshield.
We recommend waiting out the life of the coating on your windshield. If you do this, your windshield will not be damaged by the coating and you'll get to see some real benefits of driving in rainy conditions. Cheers!
Can this be used on windshields that were previously coated?
Yes, reapplication of the coating is safe and effective.
Can I use this on my home windows?
Yes, as long as your glass window does not have a manufacturer-applied coating, our Force Field coating will work beautifully on household windows.
HOME - TOILET COATING QUESTIONS
Can I flush my toilet, take a shower, or use my sink after I apply the coating?
Yes, anytime after the coating application is finished. We recommend at least a few hours. But if you gotta go, you gotta go.
